Breast Cancer Awareness

During the month of October, seemingly everything turns pink, and EverSmoke is no different. Breast cancer awareness is an enormously big deal, with millions of people worldwide tipping their hats to survivors, those who have lost the battle, and raising awareness for the cause itself. Athletes don pink athletic shoes, races and marathons happen throughout the nation in honor, events are being held in nearly every city, and everywhere you go, you can show your unity buy purchasing items in “pink” to support the efforts.

One of the biggest reasons people are so proactive when it comes to breast cancer awareness is that it savagely kills and disfigures. A huge amount of prevention comes from awareness. Nearly everyone knows someone who has fought the good fight against this disease, and it’s well documented how difficult it is!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, EverSmoke is selling beautiful, limited edition e-cigarette batteries in a delicious shade of pink. 5% of all proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen fund, and you can sport your pink e-cigarette battery as a way to show your support in the cause against breast cancer. These fantastic batteries are stylish, extremely well made, and contribute to a monumental cause. They are basically a pink version of our perennially popular rechargeable High Capacity battery, with automatic switching, known and loved for having exceptionally long life. All year long you can celebrate the fact that not only does having a pink battery rock, but it has a great meaning behind it.

So this year, while you are busy supporting the fight against breast cancer, get yourself an amazingly cool, limited edition pink EverSmoke e-cigarette battery. The meaning is awesome, the battery is awesome, and it’s just another great reason to keep your e-cig stash supplied well! Act fast, though, because quantities are limited, when they’re gone, they’re gone!

5 Reasons to Ditch the Cigs for E-Cigs for Halloween

It’s always a good time to choose vapor over smoke, and hey, Halloween is barely a week away, and it’s as good a time as any! We are still currently running our Breast Cancer Awareness sale, and it’s technically still October, so a percentage of all sales go towards the Susan G. Komen Fund, so make those purchases count towards something bigger! In the meantime, while Halloween is on the brain, here are 5 pretty good reasons why the scariest night of the year should not involve tobacco smoke!

1. Halloween is especially fun for the kids, and it’s never appropriate to smoke cigarettes around them. Exposing them to smoke can be totally avoided, whether you just stop yourself from smoking in their presence, or you do the intelligent thing and use electronic cigarettes. This way, when you’re trick or treating, or handing out candy to the hordes of revelers, you don’t put anyone in uncomfortable situations, and you can have your cake and it too!

2. If you are to imbibe on some forbidden vice, on Halloween let it be candy, and not smoke, if you are to choose between them. Vapor cigarettes are much gentler on the system, no matter what time of year anyway.

3. Halloween parties are fun, but smokers in large social gatherings usually get sent out to pasture. Stay indoors and vape, don’t miss any of the party, and infuriate no one with smoke.

4. Some places in the US already have had snowfall this year, and October is usually pretty chilly in a lot of the country. Getting bundled up to smoke outside is such a drag. Again, e-cigs are perfectly fine indoors, and even if Halloween is just another night of the week for you and don’t even intend on handing out treats, you won’t have to brave cold temps.

5. Did you know that Halloween’s original roots can be traced back to the Pagan and Druid times of the Celtic world? It was technically their “New Year” so in that vain, start your year right, with a purposeful resolution to quit smoking, and use e-cigarettes so you can still have the pleasure, none of the pain, and be free from the smoke!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Cigarettes cause cancer, we know that good and well, and since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, EverSmoke is happily doing our part to support this cause of extreme importance! While cigarettes are not proven to contribute to breast cancer, now more than ever we encourage all smokers to give using electronic cigarettes a try. It could be a decision that changes your life in the future. Besides, you really don’t need the carcinogens when you have vapor that feels as tastes the same.

Tobacco cigarettes may not be direct contributors to breast cancer, but they are highly carcinogenic and DO cause cancer in the lungs, throat, and mouth areas. Studies have shown there may be a link between breast cancer and tobacco, as its harmful components are carried to breast tissue, and it has caused breast cancer in rodents. Even still, the main goal of awareness is to instill knowledge for the betterment of people’s lives. Breast cancer is no joke, and every woman should do all within her means to protect herself as best as she can. If you are a woman who smokes, really think about opting for e-cigs. They aren’t carcinogenic, and they will let you still enjoy the pleasantness of nicotine.

For the month of October, EverSmoke will be donating a portion of all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We feel so strongly for this organization and all that they do to promote women’s wellness, prevention, and early detection of a very deadly, very frightening cancer. We are committed to doing our part to help the fight against breast cancer! In addition, we are also offering 25% off all of our e-cigarette starter kits, so now is a really awesome time to be getting one for yourself, or a friend who could use a little smoke free loving. If it’s something you’ve been thinking about, make that purchase count towards something greater! This October, want you to go with vapor to “save a life, save a lung, and save a boob!” Vapor cigarettes are the way of the future, let’s all end breast cancer together!
