How to Enhance Your E-Cig Performance

are-e-cigs-safeWhen vaping there is no right or wrong, however there is good and better. If you need some e-cigarette troubleshooting, or are having performance issues with your electronic cigarette or vaporizer, here are some tips to keep in mind. Hiccups in performance can often come down to minor little things, that can be resolved really quickly, so don’t stress it!

-Keep your e-cigarette device clean. Dirt, grime, liquid buildup and funk don’t do you any favors, so do your e-cig a favor and keep things clean. Wipe down the body, all connecting points, and the area surrounding the cartridge regularly with a soft cloth and/ or a q-tip.

-Don’t overcharge the battery, that will only cause it to wear out faster.

-Don’t drop your device. Yes, common sense will tell you this is necessary, but let’s reiterate to make it more apparent. Dropping an e-cig can be bad.

-If you’re using e-liquids do not overfill your tank. As tempting as it may be, if your tank is not producing adequate vapor or is leaking, it could be as a result of overfilling. Never more than 75%, ok?

-Don’t over tighten your cartridge onto your e-cig. It should be screwed on firmly, but not too tight. This will cause little to no vapor production.

-Don’t mix different products from different brands, they’re just not designed to go together. We can’t alert you of anything specific that may arise, but results could be dangerous.

-When using mods don’t use batteries and other components not specified for your particular device by the manufacturer.

-Is your cartridge giving off a burnt or foul taste? The problem could be that the cartridge needs replacing.

Is your e-cig giving you a sore throat? Try increasing your water intake, lowering the level of your nicotine, or trying a different flavor.

Battery not producing ample power? It might need to be charged! If it does have adequate power, it could be that your battery is just ending it’s life cycle. Or perhaps you’re vaping needs have increased and it’s ready to move onto an advanced product.

Whether you want to boost your e-cigs performance, or you’ve got an issue, there’s a solution! Whether it’s an easily fixable one that requires just a tweak or two, or you need to entirely replace your e-cigarette, troubleshooting can help get you the fix.

How to Perfect Your Technique

9Using any device, technology, or product can come with its share of ups and downs when figuring out how to get the best performance from it. When it comes to vaping, one thing we can’t stress enough is how important it is to get the feel and the technique right. So if you are new to using electronic cigarettes, or are interested in finding out how to get better performance results from your e-cigarettes, do yourself a quick little favor and read these tips!

-Experiment, experiment, experiment! Can you tell we believe in the merits of experimenting to find what works for you? Don’t expect the first go to be the perfect match. You didn’t marry the first person you ever dated, right? Same goes for trying anything else that’s new; leave your options open, try different flavors, nicotine strengths, and e-cigarette styles until you are totally satisfied.

-Try different flavors. Just because you were a smoker and used and are used to tobacco doesn’t mean all of our other exciting flavors won’t appeal to you. Change can be awesome and sometimes it’s just the trick to make your vaping go over easy.

-Vaping is not the same as tobacco smoking, and your drags are going to be different. Long, deep drags are the way to go unlike the short quick drugs typical when smoking tobacco cigarettes. In fact, the longer and slower the drags, the better.

-Enjoy all of the sensations. When you hold your vapor in (longer than you would with tobacco cigarettes), the feeling can be amazing!  Try it!

-Get really familiar with your cartridges, learn how to use them properly, how they work, and how to detect when the liquid is running low. They are major components to the experience, and if your cartridge doesn’t have enough e-liquid in it, it’s not going to perform properly.

Understand the basics of choosing a nicotine strength. Most smokers use a level around 18 mg; heavy smokers (two packs a day) would probably be most comfortable 24 mg; a casual smoker would probably enjoy 6 mg. Our suggestion is to start off with a lower level than you would typically go with so that you can see exactly what’s comfortable for you and where you can increase or decrease the nicotine.

The most important factor when vaping  is your satisfaction, so tweak these techniques and put them into play to get the most out of your experience when using electronic cigarettes. Be patient when vaping, consider that there is a learning curve involved when you first start. If you need more information or resources please feel free to browse the EverSmoke knowledge center. Your enjoyment and success when using our electronic cigarettes is our goal so please do not hesitate to explore the many options and resources we make available!

How to Take Care of Your E-Cig Cartridges

eversmoke-cartridgesE-Cigarette cartridges are an essential component to vaping. They hold the flavored nicotine e-liquid, are built to hold the atomizers, which are necessary for vaporizing the liquid, and they contain the mouthpiece for which the user puffs on. For all that they do, and all that they bring to the table, it’s important to know how to take care of your cartridges. Here are some tips to make sure you treat them right, and ensure that they will be lasting as long as possible, and performing to their fullest ability.

-Learn to use them properly. Obvious, right? Well, it’s really important that you know what you’re doing right off the bat if you want every cartridge to go as far as possible.

-Screw your cartridge onto the battery till it fits perfectly, and do not over tighten. That can cause it to function incorrectly, and not produce an adequate amount of vapor.

-E-cig cartridges do have a freshness lifespan. After opening, use within one week because after that period they begin to lose potency.

-Don’t do odd things like blow or exhale into the cartridge; they were not meant for any type of action other than puffing and inhaling on.

-Cartridges are disposable, unless stated otherwise, so do not attempt to fill them with liquids.

-They are meant to be stored at temperatures ideally below 75F, in dry conditions, so don’t expose them to water.

-If your cartridge gets hot while in use, discontinue using it until it cools off.

-When vaping, you should puff on your cartridge as you would if you were smoking a cigarette. 10 to 15 puffs, with around 5 seconds between each puff is about the equivalent of one traditional tobacco cigarette.

-When vaping, long, slow drags are the ideal way to do it; shorter, quicker puffing equates to less vapor production; no one wants that!

-It’s a smart idea to keep track of your usage, so you can have a better idea of how long your cartridges will last you. Track how many puffs you take during a session, because vaping is so enjoyable it can be easy to forget and get lost in the pleasure.

-Taste something burnt? That means the cartridge has come to an end, and it’s time for a new one.

E-cig cartridge maintenance can seem unnecessary because they are disposable and have a short lifespan, but they are a major part of the experience. Treat them right, and you will get a ton of enjoyment out of them, as well as making them last as long as possible!

Boosting Your E-Cig Battery Life

250-250-eversmoke-battery-ecig-batteriesWhen it comes to electronic cigarette batteries, you may be wondering what you can do to keep yours running as powerfully as possible, for as long as possible. Here are some ways to improve your e-cig batteries’ performance and life so that you can get the most out of them. While many people complain about e-cigarette batteries not lasting very long, we encourage you to take some action to keep things running smoothly!

-Clean the Battery. E-cigarette batteries get subjected to dirt and foreign debris because they are handled with the hands, and when anything is used regularly, it gets exposed. Small liquid leaks, storing the battery in your pocket upside down, and normal, everyday dirt can get in and slowly diminish performance. What you can do is tidy things up a bit. Cleaning your electronic cigarette doesn’t have to be difficult, however, you should know the basics: Once a week or so, take your e-cigarette apart, and wipe down all parts with a damp cloth. If you feel inspired, or if there is a significant amount of visible filth, use an old toothbrush to really scrub the junk out. This allows the parts to connect more consistently, and ensures dirt will not be getting in the way of your enjoyment.

-Use the Battery. It was designed for use, so use it! Some people want to preserve their batteries, and attempt to use them as infrequently as possible, but that’s not what they were designed for. Using them enables them to actually work, and they need that constant running to maintain good performance.

-Charge E-Cig Batteries Properly. Yes there are actually wrong ways to charge your batteries! You don’t want to wait till you’re down to the 0 level. The ideal time to charge a battery is when it is at 50% or higher because this creates less stress on the battery to power it back up to full capacity. When drained to nearly no power, it takes more effort and energy out of the battery to recover, and this overtime, contributes to a loss of performance.

-Store Your Batteries Right. Our storage cases were designed with the intent of storing your EverSmoke e-cigarette batteries, so we suggest using them. A case is the ideal place to hold your batteries because they were made to protect, and to keep your batteries safe. Just stashing a battery in your pocket is one of the worst things you can do, so keep it safe in a case, as well as in a cool, dry place.

So that sums it up! Taking care of your electronic cigarette batteries doesn’t have to take an exaggerated amount of time, nor does it have to be complicated. Following these simple steps can allow you to use your battery for a very long time, without losing any of the power and performance you want. E-cigarettes are an investment; protect them!
