The reason celebrities are so fond of alternative cigarettes is because they are awesome! They feel better, work better, allow for a lot more convenience, and they help anyone steer clear away from smoke. They are the ultimate smoking option, loaded with benefits, and low on issues. Essentially, they are just better in every way over tobacco!
Celebrities often dictate trends, and when they get noticed doing something, anything, people get curious. And so it goes with electronic cigarettes. As traditional cigarettes have always been really commonplace in Hollywood, celebs got on the bandwagon for e-cigs pretty quickly. Hey, it’s not just ordinary people who want to quit smoking! So, as the popularity of smokeless cigarettes grows massively, so do the amount of stars who are using them. A while back, Katherine Heigl was flaunting her e-cigs everywhere she went. She even gave a demonstration to David Letterman on his late night show. Some of the other famous folks who have been spotted with an e-cigarette in hand are Miley Cyrus, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Petty, JWOW, Charlie Sheen, Paris Hilton, Dennis Quaid, Harrison Ford, Trace Cyrus, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, Kate Moss, Danny Bonaduce, Ryan Seacrest, and Kate Middleton have all be known or seen lighting up electronically.
There are so many reasons people of all backgrounds are turning to vapor cigarettes, and with all of their benefits, it only makes sense that Hollywood has embraced them. With all the pressure to keep looking as young as possible, tobacco can be a severe detriment, causing a crazy amount of aging to the skin and staining the teeth. And then there are all the health factors that loom no matter who you are, if you are a smoker. And with more positive trends towards health and wellbeing, electronic cigarettes greatly improve daily life and allow smokers to still have nicotine.
Recently, e-cigs even made a cameo in the movie The Tourist, in a scene with two of the hottest Hollywood A-listers, Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. While the focus was definitely not on the subject of electronic smoking, Johnny Depp was prominently featured using one on a train, demonstrating the accessibility. If that doesn’t solidify the mass arrival of e-cigarettes, I don’t know what does!
